We are pleased to announce a new partnership with publishers I.B. Tauris, who will become our official book distributor, alongside ISD who will continue to serve the North American market.

From volume 103 (2017) The Journal of Egyptian Archaeology will have a new distribution and marketing partner: Sage Publications.

The Society welcomes a new director

The Board of Trustees are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Cédric Gobeil, of the Institut français d’archéologie orientale in Cairo, as the new EES Director to succeed Dr Chris Naunton.

Support work in our archive collections this year by helping us raise funds to rehouse over 5000 glass-plate negatives from excavations at the sites of Abydos and Armant.
