Opening times and closures

Due to essential maintenance planned in the near future, the EES may close at short notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Monday – Wednesday, 10:30-16:30

The office and library will be closed on/between the following dates:

Easter closure: Friday 29 March – Monday 1 April 2024
May closures: Monday 6 May 2024 and Monday 27 May 2024
Summer closure: Monday 5 August – Friday 30 August 2024 (reopen Monday 2 September 2024)

Opening times and closures

The Society's Cairo Office is open Sunday - Thursday from 09:00-16:00. However, you should check, using the details above, in advance to ensure that someone is available when you plan to visit. 

The Office is closed on the dates given above and on the following dates (please note that, due to the nature of the Egyptian calendar, some of the dates below are tentative and subject to change - check in advance of your visit to ensure someone is available).
