Opening times and closures

Please note that, subject to raising the required funds, we expect to redevelop our premises over 2026-2028. This means that our collections may be less accessible to researchers and visitors during this period. 

The London Office will be closed for members, researchers, and visitors from 1st April 2026, except during planned events.

Regular opening times:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:30-16:30 (Lunch Closure 12:30-13:00)

Closures:
Easter Closure: Friday 3 – Monday 6 April 2026 (reopen Tuesday 7 April 2026) 
Early May Bank Holiday: Monday 4 May 2026
Spring Bank Holiday: Monday 25 May 2026
Summer Bank Holiday: Monday 31 August 2926
Festive Closure: Closed on Monday 21 December 2026 , reopen on Monday 4 January 2027
