Digging Deeper by Supplementing the Egyptian Archaeology Magazine
Available now through the Member Zone on our website, this new annual e-magazine will be published each summer and feature a Guest Editor who will curate the issue focused on a chosen topic. The interactive format of this new serial intends to provide a more flexible reading experience for our members.
This inaugural issue explores the theme of 'Climate Change and Heritage Adaptation', following our British Academy-funded project last year. You can explore our dashboard of resources on the subject here. These articles build upon this project, tracing the history of environmental transition in northeast Africa, examining the impact of modern anthropomorphic change on heritage, and highlighting how researchers and educators are preparing future generations to meet these challenges.
Special thanks go to our Guest Editors, Dr Carl Graves (EES Director) and Dr Ziad Morsy (Honor Frost Foundation), alongside all the contributing authors for shaping this landmark issue.

The regular Egyptian Archaeology magazine will continue to be published biannually in print and online, while the new supplement offers the chance to explore specialist themes in greater depth.
