We’re looking for a Project Evaluator

The Egypt Exploration Society is seeking a consultant Project Evaluator to work with us on the delivery of our redevelopment project and new activities programme

Following a successful bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and with support from other grant funders and donors, the Egypt Exploration Society is transforming its premises in Bloomsbury into an accessible, sustainable, and innovative heritage centre as part of our Building the Future campaign. We anticipate the building works to begin in early 2027 and be completed in 2028, after which activity programmes supported by the Heritage Fund will continue to run into 2030. The plans for the redevelopment received approval from Camden Council on 20th March 2024. See planning application 2023/2928/P available here: https://accountforms.camden.gov.uk/planning-search/

The Society is seeking a Project Evaluator coordinate the collection and interpretation of data over the course of our project’s Delivery Phase, following a pre-created evaluation framework and toolkit. This is anticipated to represent a period of around 3.5 years. The Project Evaluator will produce a final evaluation report that will be submitted to the Heritage Fund and made publicly available on the EES website. A strong record of work in the heritage sector is essential, experience working with the National Lottery Heritage Fund is highly desirable.
