EES Fest in June 2026

As part of our Building the Future Campaign, the Egypt Exploration Society expects to close to the public from April 2026 in order to decant our irreplaceable archive collections to off-site storage for the duration of the transformation. Once the building has been emptied, we plan to host a series of exciting events throughout June 2026 to celebrate the EES! This is in anticipation of transforming our premises into a new centre for Egyptian cultural heritage.

See below for the latest updates on these events to be scheduled throughout the spring.

Join us for a range of engaging events that explore the rich history, archaeology, and culture of Egypt, from ancient to medieval times. From expert-led lectures and courses to hands-on workshops and groundbreaking fieldwork updates, as well as member-only tours and exclusive discounts or invitations, our events are designed for enthusiasts and scholars alike. Whether in person or online, each session offers unique insights into the EES' ongoing research and discoveries. Check back regularly for the latest listings and registration details.
