We are happy to announce the appointment of a new Editorial Board for the Journal of Egyptian Archaeology (JEA), comprising Mamdouh Eldamaty, Elizabeth Frood, Fredrik Hagen, Salima Ikram, Dimitri Laboury, Cary Martin, Rune Nyord, Ilona Regulski and Anna Stevens.

As internationally renowned colleagues the new members represent the global and thematic range of our subject as it is reflected in the authors and the readership of the JEA. They will support Claudia Näser and Stephanie Boonstra who continue to lead the Journal as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor.

After the introduction of the Mentoring for Egyptian and Sudanese Authors scheme and the new, more accessible style guide, this is the next step to strengthen the JEA as one of the globally leading journals for high-profile research on Egyptian archaeology and Egyptology, and keep it attractive for authors as well as readers from around the world.
