A full day at the EES for children and families, built around the idea that ancient Egypt belongs to everyone, and that discovery should be hands-on, joyful, and a little unexpected. Liblib Publishing brings an interactive theatre piece to life for young children, drawing on its catalogue of Egyptian children's books. Heartnouveaux will offer decorative henna, and there will be there will be the chance to handle replica artefacts, alongside games and making activities throughout the day.

Accessibility
Please note that our premises do not currently have step-free access. Our doorways are narrow, internal spaces are accessed via steps and stairs, and our one toilet is at the top of a spiral staircase. These accessibility issues will be resolved by the coming redevelopment; we look forward to being able to accommodate a wider diversity of needs in future.
