An intimate dinner at the EES building in which ancient and contemporary Egyptian cuisine share a table. Chef Seif El Sobky will serve dishes inspired by ancient Egyptian food traditions, drawing on historical and archaeological research to reconstruct flavours that predate the modern era. Each course is accompanied by a Hekayyatna storytelling thread that connects the food on the plate to its history, geography, and culture.

Accessibility
Please note that our premises do not currently have step-free access. Our doorways are narrow, internal spaces are accessed via steps and stairs, and our one toilet is at the top of a spiral staircase. These accessibility issues will be resolved by the coming redevelopment; we look forward to being able to accommodate a wider diversity of needs in future.
