Training in Egypt: Computer-IT tools for drawing and photography

Two days after the end of his work at Coptos, Dr Cédric Gobeil gave a whole day of training at our Cairo office focusing on the use of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for archaeologists. 15 early career Egyptian Egyptologists from the Ministry of Antiquities, Egyptian universities, museums and inspectorates attended the event. 

This skills-based event was very successful received positive feedback from all of the attendees. The opportunities for these students to take new techniques back to their work in the field means that the Society continues to have an impact beyond its own concessions.
