More live online events

Back in March, we launched a two week programme of FREE live online public lectures for those interested in Egypt's cultural heritage and wanting to stay Egyptologically stimulated during the COVID-19 outbreak. As the situation has developed, we have extended this programme and will continue to do so until the outbreak is over with regular lecture slots on Tuesdays at 11am (London, BST) and Thursdays at 5pm (London, BST). We hope that these slots allow people across the world to participate and key workers an opportunity to catch repeat lectures around working hours.

We offer these lectures live in order to provide opportunities for socialising and networking. We cannot guarantee to record all lectures, so we recommend signing up to the lecture times provided. Stay connected and stay safe.

Now more of you can attend!

Since we launched these free webinars in March we’ve had an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response and they have often been fully booked.  As a result, we’ve now increased our capacity so that up to 500 people can listen in.  Please register here if you’d like to be one of them. To extend capacity we’ve had to commit to paying a significant monthly subscription to Zoom.  We aim to keep these webinars free for those who want to join in, but if you like what you hear please think of sending us a voluntary donation so we can keep the service going. You can do that here. Thank you.
