The EES holds the archive of the excavations at the Sacred Animal Necropolis at North Saqqara, assembled by Harry Smith and Sue Davies. The caches are the best resources in Egypt for dedications from the Late and Ptolemaic Periods. This EES supported study has great potential for developing our understanding of dedication practices and personal piety.
