Job vacancy: Development Manager Download the recruitment pack Over the past 100 years the Egypt Exploration Society has supported and promoted Egyptian cultural heritage – exploring more than 150 sites and monuments, publishing more than 350 volumes of scientific research, and engaging with thousands of people across the world. Deir el-Bahari, the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut on the west bank of Luxor, a site excavated by the Egypt Exploration Society from 1894-1904. In our 140th year, we are preparing the EES for its next milestone by taking advantage of the need to make our London premises more accessible for members and the public, opening up our collections, staging events and exhibitions, and welcoming everyone with an interest in learning more about Egypt’s unique cultural heritage. This is an exciting and transformative period at the EES, and we’re looking for a Development Manager to take this ambitious vision forward. Terms of Employment This is a full‐time post*, based in the Society’s London Office. The successful applicant will be responsible to the Director and will be appointed on a three-year, fixed-term contract with a six‐month probationary period. * Though we envisage this position as being full time based at our London Office, we are a flexible employer, so we are open to discussing working arrangements that best suit the right candidate, including the option to work from home.
