Those of us with a passion for Egypt’s extraordinary heritage are no doubt missing the opportunity to visit the places we love most during this troubling time of self-isolation.

But now you can visit Egypt from the comfort of your home anywhere in the world, all you need is an internet connection (you can use your computer, phone, or tablet too). Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities have released a series of amazing 3D virtual tours of monuments around Egypt. While we’ve been providing many useful links here, we wanted to make sure that all of our supporters were using these unique resources provided by Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities in cooperation with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and the American Research Center in Egypt.

Sites include the Step Pyramid Complex of King Djoser at Saqqara, the tomb of Pharaoh Ramesses VI in the Valley of the Kings, and Bab Zuwayla in Cairo.
