Applications for our Fieldwork and Research Grants and Centenary Awards are now available to support fieldwork and research in Egypt or Sudan.

Applications for the 2018-19 Grants and Awards will close on Friday 15 December 2017 at 5pm (GMT). Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Interviews will not be held; applications will be considered by the Society’s Fieldwork and Research Committee in January 2018 and applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application no later than 28 February 2018.

Proposals must be emailed to [email protected] before the deadline.

This announcement comes with the launch of our new website which includes details of projects currently supported by the Society’s grants and those that we have worked on previously. Our ongoing commitment to help students and scholars of Egyptology, thanks to the contributions of our supporters and members, is reflected by the provision of these awards as well as our delivery of education and training for the next generation of scholars.
