Egyptian Archaeology 52 It’s March, it’s spring (finally), it’s time for Egyptian Archaeology. Issue 52 has just come out and EES members will be receiving their copy shortly (or will even have received it already). Beyond articles on recent work in the field – and there are some exciting discoveries from Abusir and Antinoupolis – we make interesting forays into areas the magazine does not explore very often: Islamic archaeology and the role of community engagement in heritage preservation. Last but not least, we’re of course also reporting from missions receiving EES funding, in this case from Shalfak and Qau el-Kebir – work that our members have helped to make possible through their support and donations. We hope you enjoy the read! Full contents Manage Cookie Preferences
