Cairo Course: Enhancing Management Of Egyptian Cultural Heritage

Training contents:

The training includes cultural heritage site management basics, focusing on archaeological sites in Egypt, in addition to highlighting international conventions for cultural heritage protection. The training also includes the different elements of site management and its evaluation through site visits. The training includes a monitoring and evaluation projects workshop with some tips on how to get a fund for cultural heritage projects. 

The trainers are lecturers in cultural heritage management, with the participation of special guest talkers from experts to present their projects.

Target group:

This training targets both MoTA employees and graduates from related faculties from Greater Cairo residents, also Postgraduate and senior students may apply for participation in this totally free-of-charge training.

Terms and Conditions:

To be from Great Cairo residents.
Full dedication during the program (Saturdays and Tuesdays, twice a week for four weeks, from 10 am till 5 pm, field visits are included)
No previous participation in any training program related to site management.
English language basics.
The trainees will obtain a certificate based on effective participation and doing the activities and tasks during the training.

:محتوى التدريب

    يتناول التدريب مبادىء إدارة مواقع التراث الثقافي، مع التركيز على المواقع الأثرية في مصر، كذلك أهم الإتفاقيات والمواثيق الدولية المعنية بحفظ التراث الثقافي. كما يضم التدريب عناصر خطة الإدارة المختلفة، وتقييمها من خلال زيارات ميدانية بمواقع مختارة. كما يتضمن التدريب ورشة خاصة بكيفية تقييم المشروعات ومتابعتها، وكيفية الحصول على دعم  للمشروعات المتعلقة بالتراث الثقافي.  

  .سيتم التدريب من خلال محاضرين متخصصين في إدارة التراث الثقافي، مع مشاركة لبعض الخبراء من مصر وخارجها للحديث عن مشروعاتهم 

:الفئة المستهدفة

يستهدف هذا البرنامج التدريبي كلا من العاملين بوزارة والسياحة والآثار، وخريجي الكليات ذات الصلة من سكان القاهرة الكبرى وضواحيها، كما يمكن لطلاب الدراسات العليا وكذلك طلاب السنة النهائية بالدراسة الجامعية التقدم للإلتحاق بالبرنامج. علماً بأن هذا التدريب مجاني بالكامل

:شروط الإلتحاق في التدريب

.أن يكون المتدرب في نطاق القاهرة الكبرى وضواحيها
.التفرغ الكامل خلال مدة التدريب (مرتين أسبوعياً – من 10 ص وحتى 5 م، كما يتضمن البرنامج زيارات ميدانية)
.ألا يكون المتدرب حاصلاً على تدريب في مجال إدارة مواقع التراث الثقافي من قبل
.الإلمام بقواعد اللغة الإنجليزية
.سيحصل المتدرب على شهادة بحضور التدريب شرط الإلتزام الكامل بالحضور، كذلك القيام بالأنشطة المطلوبة خلال التدريب
