Geophysics at Saqqara

Between 1990 and 2010, a Scottish mission under the direction of Ian Mathieson surveyed the important site of Saqqara using a range of geophysical techniques. Such non-destructive methods enabled a subsurface map to be created, that enhances our knowledge of the sacred landscape at Saqqara. Join Dr Campbell Price (Manchester Museum) as he presents some of the Scottish team's findings and offers some interpretations of their significance.
