Manchester Ancient Egypt Society, in association with the Egypt Exploration Society and Manchester Museum invite you to a half-study day exploring life in the workmen’s village of Deir el-Medina.

EES Director Cédric Gobeil will present two lectures discussing his excavations at Deir el-Medina and research on the mummy of the Deir el-Medina tattooed lady.

The event will be held in the Kanaris Theatre of the Manchester Museum on Saturday 7th April from 11am to 2pm (with a break for lunch).
