| On 4 July 2009, another in the successful series of 'Saturday seminars' was held in the Committee room at Doughty Mews, attended by 28 EES members. Campbell Price (Liverpool University) and Chris Naunton (Deputy Director of the EES) discussed the Karnak statue cachette and the use each had made of it during their PhD research. Campbell started the seminar with a talk on the history of the discovery of the Karnak cachette and its registration in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. In the afternoon Campbell discussed his own PhD research for which texts on Karnak statues have been invaluable. | ||||||||
